Chapter 3- The Experience...An Unlawfull.....

The Assignment Revealed

Well as you know that I had been given an assignment by my MD and asked my HOD to Breif me about the Assignment and its sensitiveness. So the conversation which took palce was as this,

HOD: So, Akshat tommorow morning you need to go to Medak.
Me: o.k. and whom I have to meet there.
MD: Actually No One. No one in the office should also not know where you are going and this include your friends also (he meant Krish...)
I was dumbstruck for a second...
Me: means..
MD: Its something classified and confidential. And in this business keep in mind only few office people know things in detail about this business which include Me , your HOD MR and now onwards you.
HOD: You need not to meet anyone there on the first day, even you shouldn't enter into the factory premises.
Me: fine, but what I had to do then...
HOD: There is a testing of our competitors product there tommorow and you have to click pictures and if possible make video film of the same during the testing.
Me: ......???...........

I was like, What?????? had I heard something wrong....what do they think who I am....007 or smthing like that......or what...

Me: And all I had to do this would be illegal..??
MD: Not illegal, technically it is but if you see practically there is no restriction of clicking the pictures of any vehicle moving on road.
HOD: And no one will see it because you would be in taxi. You don't need to shoot going very near to it just keep your camera on and could shoot it from the front seat of the car.
MD: You also have to keep in mind that no one from the testing team should see or take notice of you as you had to go to factory the next day officially to collect payment.
HOD: In the testing team we had one of our informer but that is for a backup and you also cannot contact him. We would let you know when and from where the testing would commence. Gernally you had to wait in front of the main gate because initially the vehicle would come out from there only. What you also need to check is that how they are loading the vehicle. When earlier our product was tested they loaded the vehicle with sand bags to load it with full load, this time also they would be doing the same.
MD: They load these sand bags into the vehicle just outside the factory main gate, so if you wait at a distance from the main gate you would easily recognize the vehicle which is to be tested.
HOD: So you have one hour to prepare for it. Collect the documents and other accessories and till then your ticket would be booked for an early morning flight. I would also be back in around one hour and then we will sit for final breifing. You could go now.
ME: ok...

As I was just about to open the door of the cabin my "great MD" popped a question...

MD: Akshat it would be your maiden air travel...??? right...
ME: hmmm...Yes Sir.
MD: all the best..
ME: thank you sir.

As I walked towards my cabin my mind and heart were saying diffrent things to me I didn't know what was going within me. One part of mine was telling me not to go for this assingment and another part was telling me to go and show how worthfull you are. But at last I chose to take a chance and to go for it. After all that could be my chance to prove myself and opportunities do not come repeatedly personally in my case.

Preprations and the new revelations would be in next chapter...:)

  2. The most important thing that you need to note.. don't reveal all these cases in your blogs or on FB. Infact don't mention about anything related to your work on FB. If you need to discuss call your friends but this is not the right platform.

Secondly, whatever you have been asked by your MD is perfectly fine, these are minor things which you need to do while you are working in an organisation, so don't worry.

You write good, keep it up but choose some other interesting topics to show your creativity. Best wishes for all your endeavours.

  3. I think you can try out writing a book on "My First Job"..
Waiting for the next chapter :) :) :)

Visit to HCL, Malanjkhand

On 20/6/2012 I visited one of the Asia's biggest Copper Mines in Malanjkhand, Balaghat. It is situated in MP and has border to Chattisgarh. To reach the site I traveled in Scorpio CG 04 HB 8999 which i hired as taxi. Took Scorpio to tackle the great Roads to Malanjkhand and the monsoon rains.  The MCP (Malanjkhand Copper Project) was initiated in 70's and has now grown to one of the biggest in Asia. I had two objectives while visiting the site one was to participate in the Tender issued by HCL for OTR Tyres and other was to inspect APOLLO tyres which we had supplied to one customer IVRCL who is working for HCL in the project. The mine itself is in two phase, work in one phase is done by HCL itself and in one phase two other contractors works IVRCL and RK Transport. The Copper ore excavated is of one the highest quality in India and the mine is yet to be explored full so I guess it would go on working till next50-70 years more and thus providing essential ...

Trip to Lonavala-Jan'14

Living in Pune gives you an advantage to visits various nearby places & to indulge with nature. Several famous vacation destination are with 100 km range that you can go different places each weekend. For me Travelling to various interior areas of India being one of my occupational responsibility I prefer to spend quite weekends at my room or at a friends place doing nothing or anything, rather travelling to these places. But sometimes I do get freinds from other cities to visit these nearby places for weekend and I along with them visit them. Similarly I visited Lonavala in Jan'14 with couple of friends. LONAVALA is small hill station which finds its place at the middle of Mumbai-Pune Express Highway, It is kind of equidistant from Navi Mumbai (Khargahr) & Pune. Myself living in Pimpri Chinchwad which is towards nearer to Lonavala so its only 1.5 hrs drive to this place. Basically the best time to visit Lonaval;a is after August (during & after monsoon season). ...
