Chapter 4- The Experience...An Unlawfull.....

The Preparation

I had till now decided to go for the assignment and prove myself after all opportunity never comes again and again on your door. I was a bit excited from inside and a little bit nervous too. That time I could say it was a mixed type of feeling on percentage basis it could be,
50% excitement and 50%  fear, or
80% excitement and 20% fear, or may be vice verca i.e.,
20% excitement and 80% fear.

Well I really was not able to understand what I was feeling at that time and thats the best part of it. Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone helps to you see the things in this world which you really admire, events from which you take lessons and memories which you cherish through your whole life, and thats really what all life is all about. Isn't it?????

So I started the preparations ...
What I needed for this kind of assingment, I sat down on my chair in the cabin and listed down all the things on my note pad. The list was something like this
  • ID Card.
  • Documents and files needed.
  • Camera and its charger.
  • Handicam.
  • Memory card for the camera.
  • and other various accessories....
It was 9:30 till I completed the prep and came back to my MD's chamber for his final instructions. I found my HOD and MD engrosed in a discussion and so knocked...
MD: Yes Come in.
ME: Sir I am done with all the preparations.
MD: good, come and have a seat.
I went down towards the vacant chair and seated my self beside my HOD. I got a glimpse of various documents with my HOD and stated thinking what was remaining to come along my way.

HOD: Take these papers and submit it to the purchse dept. of the Unit and receive the payments. I had been confirmed by them that the payment is ready and is needed to be collected in person.
I took the papers and gave a thorough look to satisfy meself that what the pappers were about. They were just the copies of orders and other things which were needed to collect the payment.

HOD: U could collect the tickets from my desk and do as instructed.
MD: All the Best.
ME: Thank you sir. Bye Good Night.
MD : Good Night.

I came out of the chamber and collected my tickets for the morning flight from my HOD's desk. Then again I went to my cabin double checked the items and documents to be sure and put off the lights of the cabin and came out of the office to be felt excited in the darkness and coldness of the climate.

After that I called my cousin with whom I was living to call and book the cab for tommorrow early morning. He was surprised to hear that m going out in the early morning and asked several questions. I told him a bit of things to let him know for what I was going and he was like..."Yaar tere job profile mein yeh toh nahin tha....!!!!!!"

And I was just having a mixed feeling and was a bit nevous about all what was happening....thinking about the next day I slept...

My maiden flight and Commencment of assignment...next chapter...:)

Visit to HCL, Malanjkhand

On 20/6/2012 I visited one of the Asia's biggest Copper Mines in Malanjkhand, Balaghat. It is situated in MP and has border to Chattisgarh. To reach the site I traveled in Scorpio CG 04 HB 8999 which i hired as taxi. Took Scorpio to tackle the great Roads to Malanjkhand and the monsoon rains.  The MCP (Malanjkhand Copper Project) was initiated in 70's and has now grown to one of the biggest in Asia. I had two objectives while visiting the site one was to participate in the Tender issued by HCL for OTR Tyres and other was to inspect APOLLO tyres which we had supplied to one customer IVRCL who is working for HCL in the project. The mine itself is in two phase, work in one phase is done by HCL itself and in one phase two other contractors works IVRCL and RK Transport. The Copper ore excavated is of one the highest quality in India and the mine is yet to be explored full so I guess it would go on working till next50-70 years more and thus providing essential ...

Chapter 2- THe experience...an unlawful...

"The beginning" Now as you all know am working with CTGO into their security division of the company as an Quality Engineer in the beginning, as was told to me by the management. Though my position was as an Engineer Trainee and designation was " Team Member-Engg. Team". The experience I am talking about took place in the month of November'09. Krish and I were just winding up for the day in our cabin. The cabin was shared between Abhay, me and one other guy. We went to our respective  HODs to bid them farewell for the day..(actually to take permission to go out on official time....) if no other important work for the day was left undone. When I  reached to NM who was my HOD, I was told to wait for some time as there is some work to be done and she will call me in around half an hour. My first reaction to it was like "what????? have to wait again....but why?? why me only...??? and blah blah blah......" and I started abusing the management withi...
