"The beginning"
Now as you all know am working with CTGO into their security division of the company as an Quality Engineer in the beginning, as was told to me by the management. Though my position was as an Engineer Trainee and designation was "Team Member-Engg. Team".
The experience I am talking about took place in the month of November'09. Krish and I were just winding up for the day in our cabin. The cabin was shared between Abhay, me and one other guy. We went to our respective HODs to bid them farewell for the day..(actually to take permission to go out on official time....) if no other important work for the day was left undone.
When I reached to NM who was my HOD, I was told to wait for some time as there is some work to be done and she will call me in around half an hour. My first reaction to it was like "what????? have to wait again....but why?? why me only...??? and blah blah blah......" and I started abusing the management within.
Once again our(Krish and I) plan for the evening was thrashed by the management. We had planned to roam around and have some beer but now all of that was finished. I don't konw what is it but always and always when we make some plan for the evening one of us get stuck in the office due to one or the other reason. We always tried to find out even after all this that how come the management came to know about pur plan and come all over it as a devil to finish it off. We eventually stopped making plan and decided will make plan only after getting out of office. It worked well that way actually...:)
Well so I had to wait for half an hour so Krish also waited for half an hour but as always eventually half hour became one hour and I suggested Krish to go home as I was stuck for next one hour more as instructed to me by NM.
After around one hour I was summoned to MD's cabin. On entering the cabin I found MD and my HOD both smiling. By seeing there smile only I got a feeling that I had stepped in some real shit and my heart inside me said to me "bete aaj toh waat lag gayi..." (which eventually became true...).
I was offered a chair and MD asked me "Akshat could you tommorow morning go to Medak???" I didn't know that if that was an order or question but I said yes. "O.K." he said, and asked my HOD to breif me about the assignment to be completed at Medak. And as the assingment was revealed to me my mouth was open and my heart and mind were saying diffrent things and I was really confused. I asked myself "What Should I do??"
So wats the assingment was...will be in next chapter .....:)

hahaha... by reading your blog, i can imagine what would have been my exp if i would have continued... hehe...

See there are two rules of Corporate world: -

2. If not, slap your face & refer rule # 1 again.
So, what I feel is that you have choice but limited to you only. Your boss & management have nothing to do with them.
I wish you happy journey for the tour to Medak.
